Arizona State University Unethical Controlled Experiment Discussion

We know from the second week of this course, that a controlled experiment is needed to show a cause-and-effect relationship between variables.  However, some experiments, especially involving human subjects, are considered unethical.Please give an example of an unethical controlled experiment.  Describe the research question, population of interest, explanatory variable, response variable, the control group, and the treatment group.
