describes intensive reasoning and deep thinking. An intellectual person engages in critical
thinking research and reflection to discuss specific issues, including academic work. It’s pretty
tricky to tell how intellectually thinking since other people from outside can only notice
intellectual thinkers. However, every person can feel from the inside their position as far as
intelligent thinking is concerned.
When Intellectually thinking, you critically analyze the data available to come up with the most
articulate, collected answer for your problem. I do not find it appealing to approach issues from
the same intellectual point of view. Contrasting circumstances require different approaches to
reach a sound conclusion. In reading, one should intellectually think diversely while solving
issues in classes. It will help them become outstanding and reach out to the best solutions to their
problems. The Ideas don’t remain the same all through the semester. They keep on changing
from time to time as difficulties become more manageable or more challenging. Learners should
therefore utilize the skill all through their period in school.
I believe different kinds of issues require different intellectual approaches. At first, though,
problems should be approached from the same philosophical view, but as time went by, this
perspective faded off. Besides, as time goes by and age increases, new challenges emerge. I
found it was for the best that I change the perspective at which I solve different challenges. At
times I look back and view the solutions I gave to childhood challenges and wonder what I was
thinking at the very moment. Maybe I have the right to blame my brain capacity at those
moments, but literally, the solving skills were not the best concerning age and brain capabilities.
What strengthened my change for the good is the change in age. As I grew up, I found out that I
could not solve the same challenges earlier. I did not find it weird or wrong to instantly solve
issues at a younger age without even thinking it out. In the current era, consequences are more
severe; therefore, before solving anything, I must think critically before reaching the final
decision. Identical to my peers, I believe the age difference has dramatically influenced their way
of approaching issues all through. I do not expect one to behave the same way there were ten
years ago while solving problems.
In conclusion, others may feel that age has nothing to do with how they solve their issue well and
generously. But it’s a duty to every one of us to make sure how we approach our issues does not
negatively affect the people around us. Therefore, one should choose and make perfect decisions

Humans have for centuries pursued meaning which they believed would translate to happiness.
Therefore, for centuries, humans have pursued happiness from different avenues. For instance,
proponents of altruism have for ages explained that when one devotes their time and resources to
support welfare, they will consequently find happiness. However, a myriad of idealists and philosophers
have focused on religion as the primary source of human happiness. Therefore, philosophical reasoning
has been generated to propose or oppose religion as a way to human happiness. An understanding of
religion and its eventual validation means that individuals will be able to position its views and impacts on
human happiness.
After analyzing Mavrodes’s views on his widely-used reading “Religion and the queerness of
morality,” an understanding of the role of religion in defining morality will be reached. Morality, according
to Mavrodes, cannot be defined without including the concepts of religion in it. Globally, religious concepts
have been the determining factor used to determine whether something is moral or not. Therefore, even
in a society that wills to propagate how illogic religion is still founded on the same religion’s moral
principles, they defy.
Furthermore, Xunzi in “Human Nature is Evil” supports the notion that all humans, irrespective of their
belief in divinity, are born with a deficiency that the author describes as evil. Evil in this concept is
explained through the eyes of human pursuit to gain. For instance, when a human being is born, their
ulterior need tends to pursue a gain they believe would lead to happiness. Therefore, the need to have
happiness will always lead to strife, envy, avarice, and injuries on others. A similar argument has been
furthered in Alfarabi’s “The Political Regime,” where humans are presented as beings that are always
seeking ways to satisfy their appetitive part of the soul. These desires have often led to strife and injuries
on others.
Therefore, my understanding of the religion of the role of religion in societies across the globe has been
expanded. Humans are constantly in need of happiness; therefore, to reduce the occurrence of strife and
injuries happening to others, an appropriate avenue had to be initiated. Religion dictates morality and
ethics from an individual to a communal level. In the words of Xunzi, “The nature of man is evil; his
goodness is the result of his activity.” Therefore, since religion has been the founding principle of morality
and ethics, human activities that defy the natural inborn evil have been initiated and propagated. Activities
that are defined as moral or ethical tend to steer the nature of man from the evil they are born in.
Finally, whether I believe in religion or not, I have learned to accept its existence as being very crucial to
the pillars of any society practicing it or not. A believer or not in the divine beings should understand that
the concept of religion transcends the mere argument of whether a divine being exists or not. It is a
