and to write a paper to report the results of the audit. The paper should be an academic paper but
should also communicate to the organizational leaders to help them understand how
communication is taking place in their organization.
Paper Requirements
Your final paper should be 20-25 pages in length total (including references, tables, figures,
appendices), should follow the APA Style Manual (6th ed.), and should include the following
sections:
1. An introduction that describes the organization and nature of the audit
2. A literature review that explains important variables included in the audit and cites
research findings that demonstrate the importance of these variables to the health of the
organization that you are evaluating.
3. A methodology section that explains exactly how you conducted your audit and analyzed
your results.
4. A results section that provides your research results.
5. A discussion section that discusses the implications of your results on the organization.

your research findings.

I have provided an article on an organizational communication audit and a research instrument
from Concordia University based on the International Communication Association’s audit for
you to work from. You can add new questions, delete questions, or modify questions from this
research instrument so it best assesses the organization that you decide to study. There are also
other models and examples available that you can draw from in the academic literature.
Please submit your completed assignment to the dedicated submission link in Week 15.
