Interview and Field Notes Analysis Sociology Paper

You are to prepare a paper of 8-10 pages in length (double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12pt. font) based on the field work conducted throughout the semester.  The paper should be analytical and shed light on a methodological or substantive problem that inspired or emerged from the field work.  Your paper should be as comparative as possible in terms of the settings you frequented for field work and the people and things you encountered while there (we will discuss the merits of comparative ethnography throughout the course).  Pay attention to patterns and what they might suggest.  A vivid description of your field site or sites is essential, but you should avoid writing a purely descriptive paper.
