If you were to submit an article for publication in Nature (considered to be a prestigious journal by the scientific community), outline the basic steps of the peer-review process (use the image of the peer-review process as a guide). Based upon the prestige of Nature, do you think it is easy or difficult to be published in this journal? Why?
The peer-review process is an effective way to ensure that only good quality research that adds to the body of scientific knowledge is published. However, it is not a perfect process. Give an example of when the peer review process was subverted.
