There has been a growing concern about the health of children in our country. Specifically, the increase in obesity in children has been on a steady incline over the last several years. Here’s a resource for your consideration:
You are to complete a seven-day meal-plan (breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, dessert/snack) for a child using the following structure:
Label each day,
Be reasonably specific with brand names (such as “Dannon” yogurt, “Cap’t Crunch” cereal or “Popeye’s” chicken nuggets),
No meal may be repeated more than twice, and
Indicate the total calories, proteins, fat, and carbs for each meal (in other words, you should have six meal totals per day).
If you wanted to create a diet with specific needs (e.g. dairy allergy, vegetarian, diabetes, keto, etc.), then I would encourage you to try (make it relevant to your experience/expectations).
