For this assignment, you will build off of your previous topics and attempt to persuade your audience to contribute to a charity or non-profit organization. This call to acton must connect to an actual organiza>on, but you can be creative in determining the specific call to ac>on (consider dona>ons of >me or money).  In choosing your specific speech topic, remember that both the problem and the solu>on must be audience-appropriate. Primarily, you must convince your audience of the problem and the reasonableness of your solu>on. That means that the solu>on must be seen as prac>cal and actually helping to resolve the problem. For example, if you spoke about teen hunger in the last two speeches, you may choose to iden>fy an organiza>on in Milwaukee that focuses on the issue of hunger, even if that organiza>on does not focus specifically on teens. You could, for instance, a:attempt to persuade your audience to donate their >me to or host a food drive for the campus food pantry.  Keep in mind that this is the final speech of the class, and, as a result, you are expected to demonstrate improvement from previous speeches as well as applied knowledge of class concepts.
